Politico's executive editor, Jim VandeHei, and chief White House correspondent,  Mike Allen, suggested Thursday that the New York Times and Washington Post are  biased in favor of President Barack Obama and quick to promote potentially  negative stories about presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney.
